Andi Jompole - Co-Founder & Creative Human Factor
As John Lennon said, "Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans". With the
unexpected arrival of an abandoned puppy she named Moxie, Andi Jompole was inspired to create
Moxie's On A Mission, to help raise awareness and money for less fortunate animals by donating
a portion of the proceeds from the site to animal organizations, and providing resources and custom
fundraising opportunities.
With her degree in Surface Pattern Design from Syracuse University, Andi Jompole was a designer/stylist
in the fashion and giftware industries for many years working with numerous companies through
representation, for family-owned companies such as Ciao Ltd, The Victorian Cupboard Catalogue/AKL
Studio and corporate giants including Tommy Hilfiger prior to starting The Perfect Present - a custom
service specializing in creative solutions for corporate, social and special event marketing merchandise,
upscale gifts and custom fundraising programs that donates to charity. Known for giving and suggesting
perfect gifts, Andi thrives on creative challenges and strives to make each client look great in their clients'
and guests' eyes enabling her to share her experience and conceptual thinking while helping non-profits.
Volunteering with non-profits starting in her teens at The Association for Neurologically Impaired Brain
Injured Children where her family was involved on behalf of her sister. Jompole works both hands-on and
at charity events where she wears many hats. In addition to helping others, she says this is how she
has met some of her closest friends and received a lot of practical experience and knowledge which she
applies to her work.
Among the many organizations Jompole has given her time to, were the 8 years she co-chaired the
decorating committee of The Manhattan Society for Multiple Sclerosis contributing her creative
imagination to their annual Black-tie casino nights and more casual U.S. Intrepid events. As a result,
she and her co-chair were hired to do a number of corporate and social events.
Prior to his death in 2000, Andi's father owned The Jompole Company Inc., well known in the advertising
specialty and gifitware industry for decades. Having grown up going to industry trade shows and working
with him over the years, Andi knows he would be proud of the spin she has put on her creativity, knack
for great gift ideas, knowledge of his business and desire to help others.
Andi finds Moxie and Precious to be ideal colleagues. Precious is content working on her own and Moxie
initiates fun breaks and exercise throughout the day.
In early February 2007, Moxie and Andi passed their Pet Therapy certification class and look forward to
bringing smiles to many faces at the hospitals and other programs they will participate in.
